A man suffered critical burns after a honey oil lab went up in flames in an apartment building in Hollywood Hills Thursday morning.
The incident was reported about 2:45 a.m. in the 1900 block of North Cahuenga Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Department Lt. McGuire said.
Officers found a man with severe burns to his face, chest and hands, McGuire said.
The man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said a honey oil lab, discovered inside the six-story apartment building, caused the fire.
No one else was injured in the incident, McGuire said.
