The grand marshal of the 2017 Tournament of Roses Parade will be named Thursday at the iconic Tournament House in Pasadena.

The grand marshal will ride in the 128th Rose Parade themed “Echoes of Success,” which “tells the story of how our character has developed through the selfless contributions of others and celebrates their inspirational gifts,” the Tournament of Roses website stated.
The announcement will be made on the front steps of the Tournament House at 9:30 a.m., according to a Tournament of Roses news release.
The 2017 Rose Parade will take place on Monday, Jan. 2.
Last year’s grand marshal was documentary filmmaker Ken Burns.
