A man was stabbed early Saturday morning in Pomona while trying to break-up a fight in a parking lot, police reported.
The stabbing was reported at 1:50 a.m. on East Second Street and Garey Avenue, the Pomona Police Department said. Responding officers found a 40-year-old man suffering from at least one stab wound to the upper torso.
The man told police he was stabbed while trying to break up a fight in the parking lot.
The man was airlifted to a local hospital, in serious but stable condition, according to police.
The suspect vehicle was described as a gray Chevy Cruze with paper license plates.
No other information was released.
The incident was under investigation.
