Police were asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for robbing a Chase Bank in Seal Beach on Thursday.
The bank robbery was reported just before 4 p.m. at the Chase Bank located at 801 Pacific Coast Highway. The suspect – described as a white male, was armed with a silver, long-barreled handgun, according to a news release from the Seal Beach Police Department.
He was described as standing approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall with a thin build.
Police said he was last seen wearing a black or gray shirt, dark colored jeans and was wearing a black ski mask.
The suspect fled the bank on foot. Police did not say how much money the robber got away with during the heist.
