A disabled veteran who suffers from Parkinson's disease due to his contact with Agent Orange is unable to pay for extensive plumbing repairs his house requires before his homeless niece can move in with her children as a caregiver.
Joe Cordero lost his wife, who was also his caregiver, earlier this year and has been struggling without her income. The simple solution would be for his niece who lost her home to move in, but $5,300 worth of repairs involving the main sewer under his house stands in the way.
Kacey Montoya reports from Orange for the KTLA 5 News at 10 on Oct. 28, 2016.
