Firefighters were searching for a boy who fell into ditch in Griffith Park on Easter Sunday, officials said.
The incident was reported around 4:30 p.m. in an alert from the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Fire crews were responding to 5254 W. Zoo Drive, down the road from the Travel Town Museum.
The boy was reported to have fallen an unknown distance into what firefighters described as a drainage ditch. But rescuers could only see water and had not spotted the victim.
His age was not given, but he was described as “small.”
A large LAFD response was on scene. No further details were immediately available.
