A man barricaded himself inside a Santa Monica home leading to a police standoff Friday night, according to the Santa Monica Police Department.
Police were called to a home in the 200 block of 19th Street around 6:32 p.m.
Officers warned residents in the area to lock their doors and windows and avoid the area, in a tweet.
