A 28-year-old man died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver and a MTA bus in Van Nuys over the weekend and police are looking for the person who left the scene.
The incident was reported about 12 a.m. Sunday when a pedestrian was crossing outside a cross walk on Sepulveda Boulevard north of Vanowen Street.
The man was struck by a dark-colored 4-door sedan heading east on Sepulveda and was then hit by a MTA bus heading north, officials said.
The bus driver stopped and remained at the scene during the investigation, but the driver of the sedan did not.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
