USC Faculty Member Stabbed, Killed on Campus: Authorities

A 25-year-old University of Southern California faculty member was killed on campus Friday evening after being stabbed, authorities said.

Los Angeles officers received a call of a stabbing with a deadly weapon around 4:34 p.m. in the 3600 block of McClintock Avenue. Police told KTLA the victim was a faculty member at the university.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Los Angeles Fire Department officials said.
